Locations
Q: How far is Scarborough town centre, shopping facilities and restaurants?
A: Literally outside the front door of the hotel and across the road you will find Westborough and the Brunswick Shopping Centre, the central shopping area of the town. Further down you will find restaurants in abundance.
Q: How far is the seafront and Spa Complex?
A: 10 minutes walk. You can take the cliff lift which is several hundred yards to the right of the hotel which brings you directly onto the seafront of the South Bay
Q: Is the hotel far from the Railway Station?
A: 5 minutes walk. Turn left out of the hotel and then right and the station is on your left.
Q: How long a drive is it to the various neighbouring coastal towns and villages?
A: Whitby & Staithes (30 mins), Robin Hood's Bay (25 mins), Filey (20 mins).
Q: What about York?
A: 50 mins by car, 1 hour by train.

Q: Can I leave my car all day in the hotel car parking facility?
A: Yes, you are free to use the park at any time. Remember lock-up is at 11.00pm.
Q: Do I need to book for the Saturday Night Dinner & Dance?
A: Yes, but a quick word with reception up to 12 noon on Saturday will guarantee you a place.
Q: Can I invite non-residential guests to the hotel restaurant?
A: Of course, as many as you like, as long as we are informed by 12 noon on the day.
Q: Can I bring non-residential guests into the Leisure Pool facility?
A: No, we would rather that this area were kept for residents only - sorry!
